December 4, 2007 ---------------- Posted the first version (V001) of the Level 2 (L2) files for the Willow Creek, Wisconsin site (US-WCr). V001 files span the period 1998 to 2006 although the 1998 file contains only met data and no flux estimates. February 27, 2008 ----------------- Posted the first version of the Level 3 and 4 (L3 and L4) files for US-WCr. The files cover 1999-2008. September 4, 2008 ----------------- Posted new L2 files (V002) for US-WCr. The new files provide corrected precipitation data for 2005, provide corrected Fg data using a sign convention consistent with other AmeriFlux sites, and contain corrected diffuse PAR data. The V002 L2 files also cover the period 1998 to 2006. October 22, 2008 ---------------- Posted new L2 files (V003) for US-WCr. The new files cover the same period (i.e., 1998-2006) of record but differ from V002 in that the data were screened for wind direction. December 16, 2008 ----------------- Posted V003 L3 and L4 files for US-WCr based on the V003 wind screened L2 files. May 18, 2011 ------------ Posted new L2 files (V004) for US-WCr. The V004 files are consistent with other AmeriFlux L2 files in terms of variable naming conventions and units, and provide data from 1998 through 2006. April 18, 2013 -------------- Version 5 (V005) of the Level 2 (L2) files for the Willow Creek site in Wisconsin were posted. V005 represents a major re-processing effort by Ankur Desai and replaces all previous versions. V005 spans the period 1998 to 2012 and includes the period 2007 to 2009 when the site was not operating. Files for these years contain many missing values but gaps for select variables were filled for 2007-2009. V005 also represents the first time select (GPP, NEE, and Re) gap-filled records have been provided for US-WCr. March 20, 2014 -------------- Version 6 (V006) of the Level 2 files for the US-WCr site were posted and cover the period 1998 to 2013. V006 contains some data issues (e.g., shortwave radiation (Rg) showed higher values in spring 2013 than summer 2013. Ankur Desai is aware of these data issues and will resolve in future releases of the Willow Creek data collection. June 6, 2014 ------------ Version 7 (V007) of the Level 2 files for the Willow Creek, Wisconsin (US-WCr) site were posted and cover the period 1998 to 2013. V007 resolves some of the 2013 data issues identified in V006. October 9, 2014 ---------------- Version 8 (V008) of the Level 2 files for the Willow Creek, Wisconsin (US-WCr) site were posted and cover the period 1998 to 2013. V008 differs from V007 in only the UST and UST_fill variables which were incorrectly swapped in V007. June 3, 2015 ------------ Version 9 (V009) of the Level 2 (L2) files for the Willow Creek, Wisconsin (US-WCr) site were posted and cover the period 1998 to 2014. V009 differs from V008 in the following ways: 1) data from 2010-2013 have been reprocessed by Ankur Desai and 2) the addition of 2014 data. October 16, 2015 ---------------- Version 10 (V010) of the Level 2 (L2) files with record gaps for the Willow Creek, Wisconsin (US-WCr) site were posted and cover the period 1998 to 2014. The gap-filled L2 files for US-WCr were unchanged and remain the V009 files posted in June 2015. The V010 L2 files with gaps differ from the V009 files only for the PAR variable. V009 files wth gaps contained gap-filled PAR values furnished by Ankur Desai while those gap-filled PAR values have been removed from the V010 files. April 27, 2016 -------------- Posted version 11 (V011) of the Level 2 (L2) files for the Willow Creek, Wisconsin (US-WCr) site. V011 files cover the period 1998 to 2015. The only difference between the V011 files and the V010 files is the inclusion of the 2015 data. Pre-2015 data in the gap-filled and time series with gaps did not change from the previous version for each set of files. Details on the processing of the original files provided by Ankur Desai by CDIAC to produce the V011 L2 files for US-WCr are provided at ftp://cdiac.ornl.gov/pub/ameriflux/data/Level2/Sites_ByName/Willow_Creek/with_gaps/report_Willow_Creek.html
