ABSTRACT: The BOREAS TGB-01 team made numerous measurements of trace gas concentrations and fluxes at various NSA sites. This data set contains methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2) concentrations in soil profiles from the NSA-OJP, NSA-OBS, NSA-YJP, and NSA-BP sites during the period of 23-May to 20-Sep-1994. The soil gas sampling profiles of CH4 and CO2 were completed to quantify controls on CO2 and CH4 fluxes in the boreal forest.
