Spectra of C/1996 B2 (Hyakutake) for Multiple Offsets from Photocenter

Status: LOCALLY ARCHIVED

Abstract: High resolution spectra of comet Hyakutake obtained at Kitt Peak National Observatory on the day of closest approach, 26 March 1996, with the echelle spectrograph on the 4m Mayall Telescope. There are spectra for offsets of 0, 2, 7, and 10 arcsec sunward from the photocenter. The wavelength ranges from 3040-4500 Angstroms.
