VEGA1 ORIGINAL MISCHA DATA SUBMISSION

Status: SAFED

Abstract: This data set includes the original Vega 1 MISCHA data delivery to PDS. The data were provided by Magda Delva of the MISCHA instrument team. The data are provided in ASCII format as well as the original IBM/PC binary format in which they were delivered to PDS. This data set was created for purposes of 'safing' these data. Significant concerns exist with regards to data quality. Specifically one of the instrument sensors saturated near closest approach to the comet Halley.
