This release of the Validate Tool is a component of the integrated release 4.0.0 of the PDS4 System. This is an operational release of the system components to date. The new or modified capabilities for this release are as follows:

• Includes the latest XML Schema and Schematron files generated from the PDS4 data model (1.1.0.1).
• Added support for xinclude pointers in product labels.
• Added support to correctly interpret the severity of a schematron rule.
• Corrected an issue resolving references that use the directory_path_name element.
