PDS: The Planetary Data SystemISIS Image Processing Package
ISIS (Integrated Software for Imagers and Spectrometers) is a specialized image processing package. It has many standard image processing operations such as contrast stretch, image algebra, filters, and statistical analysis. It also has specialized operations for spacecraft data from NASA missions such as Voyager, Viking, Galileo, Mars Global Surveyor, and Mars Odyssey. ISIS operates on both classical two-dimensional images as well as three-dimensional cubes collected from imaging spectrometers. This software is made available by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) which manages the Imaging Node of the PDS.
