CheMin (Chemistry and Mineralogy)

Release 13 includes new CheMin raw (EDR) and derived (RDR) data from
sols 1294-1417, March 27 - August 1, 2016.
|
CheMin identifies and measures the abundance of
various minerals on Mars using X-ray diffraction. CheMin
analyzes powdered rock samples generated by the rover's
drill and soil samples collected by the rover's scoop.
CheMin data sets are produced by the CheMin Team at NASA
Ames Reseach Center.
