Viking Orbiter

The two Viking Orbiters mapped the Martian surface from 1976 to 1982. PDS has archived the following Viking Orbiter data sets:

• Visual Imaging Subsystem Experiment Data Record (EDR) Images
• Visual Imaging Subsystem Digital Imaging Model (MDIM) and Digital Terrain Model (MDTM)
• Infrared Thermal Mapper (IRTM) Data
• Mars Atmospheric Water Detector (MAWD) Data
• Radio Science Line-of-Sight Gravity Data
• SPICE Data (at  the PDS NAIF Node)

The following data set is maintained at the Geosciences Node, but has not been formally archived with PDS:

• Viking Orbiter / Mariner 9 Occultation, Gravity, and Topography Data
