AAREADME.TXT - Introduction to the venus radar archive. Read this first.
ERRATA.TXT - Comments and errata concerning the archive volume.
VOLDESC.CAT - Description of the volume contents as a PDS catalog object.

INDEX Directory

• INDXINFO.TXT - Tells what's in this directory.
• INDEX.TAB - A list of all data files in the archive. Use this file to browse the data. This file is described by the label INDEX.LBL.

DATA Directory- Contains the image files. Each image has an accompanying detached PDS label.

DOCUMENT Directory

• DOCINFO.TXT - Tells what's in this directory.
• VENUS_RADAR.PDF and VENUS_RADAR.HTM - The "Earth-Based Radar Observations of Venus PDS Archive Description" document. The PDFand HTML files are described by the label VENUS_RADAR.LBL.
• GEO_VENUS_KEYWORDS.TXT - Data dictionary for Geosciences Node keywords found in the venus radar labels but not included in the standard PDS data dictionary. The TEXT file is described by the label GEO_VENUS_KEYWORDS.LBL

CATALOG Directory

• CATINFO.TXT - Tells what's in this directory. All these files are ASCII text files.
• VRM_DS.CAT - Data set description.
• RTLS_INST.CAT, GBT_INST.CAT - Instrument descriptions.
• ARCB_INSTHOST.CAT, NRAO_INSTHOST.CAT- Instrument host descriptions.
• PERSON.CAT - Personnel associated with this archive volume.
• REF.CAT - References mentioned in the above catalog files.
